We are looking for a Talent Manager to lead internal mobility processes and initiatives for Nortal Finland - tracking, facilitating, and communicating movement between projects in and outside Finland to support the building of high-performing teams and maximizing the utilisation and satisfaction of our team members.
You will partner closely with the business, Talent Management Global team, Global Talent Acquisition teams as well as Sales and People & Culture organisation to effectively support our goals.  

In this role you will

  • Develop processes and improve ways of working to facilitate staffing and seamless internal mobility.  
  • Coordinate, track, and facilitate movement of employees between projects inside and outside of Finland and/or the talent pool. 
  • Partner with internal stakeholders to build high-performing teams - team structure planning, ramp-up and ramp-down plans, talent development initiatives to meet business demand. This requires understanding the technology stacks used by our team members and staying up to date on the technologies being used in our projects. 
  • Identify and track employees who will roll off projects and proactively seek and validate new opportunities or projects.  
  • Partner with Talent Acquisition (TA) to create visibility of open positions for current employees and ensure their visibility on our careers page
  • Open external recruitment requests as required after validating that all current projects are staffed
  • Build and facilitate co-operation with Subcontractors.
  • Partner with the sales team to create ramp-up plans, allocate talent and provide input for tenders.

  • Experience in a project-based environment, working with stakeholders from multiple business organisations and geographies
  • Strong business acumen, comfortable with a data-driven environment, ability to use metrics to guide decision-making  
  • Familiarity with our technology stacks
  • Excellent relationship-building and communication skills
  • Ability to negotiate and influence others  
  • Dynamic “can do” and problem-solving mindset
  • Experience in creating and implementing processes
  • HR (Human Resources) and/or Talent Acquisition experience
  • Adept at collaborating and negotiating with Subcontractors 
  • Fluent Finnish and English
