who has previous working experience of Linux or Windows server management and network infrastructure based on SaaS offerings as well as exposure to different architecture models to join our Apix software development team!

In this position you will be administering the production environment. You will be proactively monitoring system performance and capacity planning, providing input on ways to improve the stability, security, efficiency, and scalability of the environment. Your responsibility is to manage, coordinate and implement software updates, patches, and hot fixes on servers. You will be also designing changes and new implementations, so coding and scripting skills (e.g Bash or Python) are valued advantage to perform tasks.

You are responsible for infrastructure management and system administration. You also design, improve, coordinate, implement and monitor infrastructure, install systems, and solve problems. You get to work closely with the software development team and improve the whole lifecycle of our SaaS services, starting from the design to deployment to measuring and optimizing performance and cost efficiency.

As an experienced System Specialist, you have deep knowledge of AWS or Azure infrastructures, security, network, virtualization, load balancer, storage solutions and databases. You have experience in maintaining infrastructure as code and are maybe familiar with technologies like Ansible and Terraform. You have hands-on experience maintaining relational databases (e.g with MySQL or Aurora).

You have strong problem-solving skills. You collaborate with other teams and team members, share what you learn, help others, learn from your peers, and ask for help when you need it. We value positive, proactive, and solution-oriented attitude towards work.

You have fluent communication skills in English, written and spoken. Finnish language skills are appreciated. Your closest colleagues are located at our headquarters in Espoo, but we work with a flexible hybrid model.
