In this position, you are the Product Owner in one of our Scrum teams working with Procountor product family (Procountor Mini, Procountor Solo, Procountor Financials and Procountor Ledger). You will manage the team’s backlog by defining stories, prioritizing them, and refining them together with the team. You will also participate in product roadmap planning and backlog refinement. When your team releases a development effort, you will prepare the internal communication and documentation, organize demos, and prepare the program increments together with your team.  

Your main responsibilities include driving the development of new features and improvements that are implemented by your team. You do not need to have knowledge of product development, because you will use your experience of the financial and accounting field to succeed in this position. You are responsible of having the big picture for the team’s development projects, maintaining schedule and budget, communicating with stakeholders and co-operating with other development teams.  

Most of your team is located at our headquarters in Espoo, but our other possible locations are in Turku, Tampere, Oulu and Jyväskylä. We work with a flexible hybrid model. 

• A background in accounting, financial management, or finance 
• Knowledge of Finnish Accounting standards and legislation 
• Proven track record of organizing, prioritizing, time management and driving results 
• Experience in project management or process development 
• Knowledge of Procountor, commercial software product development experience, knowledge of agile methodologies and processes (Scrum, Kanban etc.) and product owner experience are valued but not necessary 
• Fluent Finnish and English language skills
