Process SAP Expert

We are looking for a Process and SAP Expert to join Parts Supply Support team within Wärtsilä Global Logistics Services Operations Support organization. The PSS team supports Parts Supply organization in their daily activities related to purchasing, planning and supplier quality. Additionally, the team is responsible for improving efficiency of Parts Supply processes and systems, through continuous improvement, development of digital tools and process development initiatives.

The preferred location for this position is Vaasa Finland, alternative one of the main WGLS PS locations in Finland, Italy or Netherlands.

In this role, your responsibilities are: 

- Provide daily expert support for WGLS PS community and stakeholders
- Maintain, develop and record Parts Supply processes and work instructions
- Identify, evaluate and realize process and system development opportunities
- Plan and provide trainings for end users and other stakeholders
- Ensure consistency and efficiency of processes through continuous improvement practices
- Represent Parts Supply and Operations Support organizations in cross-functional projects
- Act in a lead role in WGLS internal process development initiatives

Skills and characteristics that enable you to succeed in this role:

- Prior experience about WGLS Parts Supply or Wärtsilä purchasing and supply management processes
- Practical experience of SAP MM and QM modules, and vision how to improve these and other tools
- Ability to work independently as part of virtual team
- Understanding of process and software development basic practices
- Good analytical skills, ability to prioritize and make decisions based on data insights
- Positive attitude towards digitalization, capability and interest to learn and implement new technologies in practice

- Prior experience in S/4 Hana, business data analytics and process automation are considered as an advantage
- M.Sc. / B.Sc. in Supply Chain Management, Information Technology, Business Administration or equivalent
