We are now looking for a Product Quality Specialist to join our forward-looking team. The potential locations are Finland (Helsinki), Canada or Serbia. For Canada you must be authorised to work without sponsorship.
Key Responsibilities:
· Perform functional, security, performance and automated software testing on web and mobile applications.
· Participate in all project phases including planning, preparation, stabilization and first line of support of all the solutions.
· Cooperate with software development engineers, end users and business analysts.
· Participate in sessions for knowledge sharing, optimization and improvement of the performance.
· Strong knowledge of QA methodology and tools
· Experience in writing test plans or test cases
Knowledge and skills we are looking for:
- Fluent in spoken and written English
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Bring a creative thinking approach when it comes to complex problem-solving situations.
- Promoting quality within the organization
- Interaction with business analysts to remove the problems discovered before starting the process of implementation of software solutions
- Development of detailed test plans, user scenarios and validation procedures based on project requirements and specifications
- Installation, configuration and management of software testing platforms
- Planning and performing functional, security, performance, and regression tests on Web, Desktop and Mobile applications
- Interaction with software development engineers to troubleshoot problems discovered during the testing process
- Validation of new versions and performing Release Management Process
- Development of general and detailed testing documentation, End-User documentation, Bug Reports and Release notes
- Performing training process of the end user
- Creating UAT documentation and performing UAT process with the client
- Providing software application support
- Direct communication with the client to find out the nature of the issued problem
- Establishing the root causes of application errors, and escalating serious concerns
