We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated GRC Team Manager to lead our Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) team within Accountor's Financial Management Software cluster. As the GRC Team Manager, your primary responsibility will be to ensure that our operations are governed properly and in a compliant manner, risks are effectively managed, and our overall maturity in these areas continues to grow enabling us to be the trustworthy partner for our customers.

In this role, you will lead the team in delivering on compliance and governance requirements by collaborating across functions while also managing GRC team’s dynamics, motivation, and individual performance. You will oversee the big picture, provide guidance and direction, while also being hands-on and diving into tasks when necessary. Your expertise in governance, risk management, privacy, data protection, information security management, and compliance will be instrumental in driving our commitment to doing business the right way.

As the GRC Team Manager, you will implement actions to improve information protection, privacy, information management, and compliance across our FMS cluster. This will involve developing and enhancing processes, implementing frameworks, fostering a culture of risk awareness, and promoting best practices across the whole organisation in privacy, information security and overall compliance. Additionally, you will facilitate management processes such as ISMS and risk management rounds, as well as coordinate GRC-related tasks to ensure seamless operational processes and effective resolution of any issues or incidents that arise.

Most of your team is located at our headquarters in Espoo, but our other locations are in Turku, Tampere, Oulu, Jyväskylä and Stockholm. We work with a flexible hybrid model.

• Strong knowledge and experience in leading governance, compliance, information security, and privacy domains as well as related frameworks (e.g. ISO27001)
• Familiarity with the relationship between GRC and the business
• Ability to understand technology at a level that allows for a comprehensive understanding of the impact of GRC related actions on the business
• Experience in developing processes and ways of working, with knowledge of substance scope and teamwork
• Proven track record of leading teams of specialists and effectively utilizing diverse team member skills to achieve overarching goal
• Passion for team leadership and developing your team members as individuals
• Ability to influence, persuade, and encourage stakeholders across the organization, building trust and fostering understanding that governance supports the business
• Fluent communication skills in both spoken and written English and Finnish
