You can be the change at RELEX.</p> <p>We are now looking for a full-time <strong>Technical</strong><strong> Service</strong><strong> Consultant</strong> to join our RELEX family in Helsinki, Finland, to start to focus on RELEX Space and Assortment technical support in Global Continuous Services function. You will be part of an innovative team of Technical Service Consultants, who will help you succeed in your new role.&nbsp;&nbsp;</p> <p>The main responsibilities in this role will include acting as a RELEX systems expert, attending/leading specification workshops, managing technical work streams, building integrations between RELEX and customer backend systems, and/or investigating complex technical issues for our customers. In addition, other tasks may include the installation, configuration, and integration of RELEX applications within Cloud hosted infrastructure. The role requires planning and executing some development work, contributing to a high level of customer satisfaction. You will enjoy a great deal of freedom in regard to structuring your work, but you will always have your supportive colleagues by your side. Then you will be the perfect fit!</p> <p><strong>What you’ll be doing:</strong>&nbsp;</p> <ul> <li>Act as a Technical Service Consultant in RELEX implementation projects, including Tier-1 customer projects.</li> <li>Work closely and communicate with relevant internal &amp; external project team members.</li> <li>Attend and sometimes lead technical specification workshops, and ensure all technical tasks are completed within the timelines and to best practice standards.</li> <li>Manage your own technical work streams.</li> <li>Design and build integrations between RELEX and customer backend systems, focusing on the import, transformation and export of large data sets.</li> <li>Investigate issues in the applications and hosted windows server infrastructure.</li> <li>Investigate complex technical and performance issues for our customers.</li> <li>Handle escalations from the 1st line support team (24/7)</li> <li>Improve service phase work within and across the teams&nbsp;</li> </ul> <p><strong>What you’ll bring to the table:&nbsp;&nbsp;</strong></p> <ul> <li>Bachelor’s/Master's degree and some experience working in the field of Software Engineering, Information Systems Engineering, Computer Engineering or Computing Science</li> <li>Strong analytical, problem solving and teamworking capabilities</li> <li>Experience of working with external customers</li> <li>Experience in understanding, defining, and documenting customer requirements and then translating those into technical solutions</li> <li>Experience in programming/database/query languages &amp; tool skills (e.g., SQL Server, SSIS, PowerShell, Java, JavaScript, &nbsp;or similar languages &amp; tools skills)</li> <li>Experience in Windows Server environments</li> <li>Technical Troubleshooting experience</li> <li>Understanding of how Support Services function</li> <li>Fluent communication skills in English&nbsp;</li> </ul> <p><strong>What we consider as an advantage:&nbsp;&nbsp;</strong></p> <ul> <li>Strong interest in learning new and innovative technologies, as RELEX is continuously looking to improve our technical solutions and processes.</li> <li>Experience in Citrix technologies (Citrix Cloud, Citrix deployments) or other Application Publishing / Deployment Tools</li> <li>Experience with SSO solutions and technologies.</li> <li>Experience in ETL and integration technologies</li> <li>Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.</li> <li>Microsoft Azure Fundamental Certification</li> <li>Supply Chain and Business Analytics Industry knowledge OR Category Management industry knowledge OR previous experience with a grocery / CPG / FMCG retailer or supplier.</li> </ul> <p>RELEXians can be found around the world, but here we’re based in Helsinki.
