B2B Sales Marketing Manager – Lead generation - Branding
Management Events operates in 10+ markets across Nordics, Benelux, DACH, UK, and France. and we have 200+ employees. We achieved a revenue of 30+ million euros in 2019, after which the pandemic cut one-third of it. We are growing back to the pre-pandemic level this year.
About the position:
We are looking for a sharp, agile, and results-oriented B2B Marketing Manager to join our team, to increase awareness of Management Events concepts and services, and through that generate leads from a variety of B2B service companies.
As Marketing Manager your role is to enable sales to achieve the set targets. You play a critical role in driving revenue growth by attracting companies to make their sales process effective with pre-qualified 1-2-1 meetings, and creating brand awareness by participating as sponsors at our industry-leading conferences.
Responsibilities:
- Hit agreed targets for lead generation and follow both new business revenue generated and recurring revenue supported by marketing actions.
- Proactively identify, target, and engage potential companies to meet top CXOs of our network, and/or sponsor our events to gain visibility and to create awareness – addressing and attracting both established companies and emerging industry players.
- Develop content with the vendor market in mind, formulate marketing strategies, including the writing of promotional copy texts, A/B testing of campaigns, aligned with sales message and prospectus copy with the Sales Manager’s value proposition (VP) to ensure consistency.
- Move customers up the advocacy ladder and engage with them using interactive and content-led marketing techniques
- Use a full range of online marketing tactics, including social media, email, and SEO
- Sales customer databases maintenance and enriching with new contacts.
What would make you successful in this role?
- 1- 2+ years' experience preferred, ideally gained within b2b sales support marketing in publishing, conferences, or exhibitions
- Clear communicator with a high sense of accountability and a true team-player mindset
- A creative problem-solver and effective decision maker
- Organized and disciplined, spinning multiple plates without losing focus drives you
- Analytical and results-oriented working style, KPI, and results guide priorities
