I am Ann Ehlin, leading the Product Team in the Pay TV Area at Telia Company. I am looking for a driven Nordic/Common Product Manager for our Telia Play service. You will work closely with me, product owners, the design team, as well as local business and product managers, content managers and many others, to create the best Nordic aggregated media experience.  

We care deeply about our user experience; we expect that you do too. In this role, you will be responsible for the end-to-end experience of our TV/streaming service and to find synergies cross our markets to deliver value to our users and to our business. Our Telia TV/Play service has a large market share, and we are proud to be on the top 5 list of most used streaming services in the Nordics.

To run a popular streaming service requires a lot of parts to come together. As our Common Product Manager, you have a key role in providing a great user experience, from idea to stream. You will create a dynamic duo with a Common Product Manager colleague and be part of a great TV/Streaming-team that share your passion and mission to deliver the best Nordic media experience.

The role includes, but is not limited to: 

  • Lead our Product Vision and Strategy work, aligning with all stakeholders.
  • Ensure we have a prioritized product delivery backlog based on customer and business value, while considering cost of development and time to market.
  • Ensuring that our Pay TV unit are seen as TV & Streaming thought leaders.
  • Be our Telia Play ambassador – communicate and visualize plans, deliveries, and successes for stakeholders within and outside the organization. 
  • Aligning product roadmap and backlog with our business units needs and forecasts, ensuring we have a transparent time plan for our most valuable deliverables.
  • Aligning TV/Streaming KPIs and short- and long-term targets cross product and business units.
  • Organizing events, workshops and meetings to engage our teams in our product.
  • Managing business needs and ensure a common way of working when adding new countries to our Common TV/Streaming platform.
  • Be a member of the PA Pay TV Product leadership team.   
  • Together with our entire organization ensure that we deliver a high quality and robust service to our users, available to our users 24/7.  

Is this you?

Your personal competences and experiences: 

  • a driven, curious, team-player with an eager to explore and learn new things. 
  • a structured visionary with experience from defining and implementing product strategies. 
  • proven track record of driving change, effectively communicating, influencing and engaging at all levels across a multinational matrix organization.
  • a strong team player, great at cooperating and creating a “we”-feeling cross teams and countries.
  • 5+ years experience in Product Management and product lifecycle management
  • Understanding of financial terms, business cases, product calculations
  • Understanding of TV/Streaming services, our market and industry trends in the area
  • Understanding of user research, data analysis, and product metrics 
  • Experience from innovation, product marketing and agile development processes
  • Project management skills 
  • Fluent in English.
