We are looking for a visionary SAP Solution Architect for the Sales and Service Management area (SAP SD and CS) to work in the interface of business and IT to enable the transformation of current WE SAP to SAP S/4HANA. You will be a key player in defining the S/4HANA scope and creating the future roadmap and architecture design within own area. Even though the main focus the coming years will be on the S/4HANA transformation, you will also be supporting business operations in SAP ECC.

Main responsibilities as a Solution Architect:

As a Solution Architect in the Sales and Service Management Solutions the main focus for the coming years will be to work in close cooperation with business and other stakeholders in the transformation journey from current landscape and architecture to the future state. You will be responsible for the architectural design and roadmap creation within Sales and Service Management solutions. This position is in our Global ERP Center of Excellence. Together with our other solution architects you will jointly ensure that present and future architecture is correctly incorporated. You will work in close collaboration with your colleagues in the Sales and Service Management Solution and the whole global ERP CoE.

To be successful in this position we expect you to have strong experience in SAP ECC Sales and Distribution and Customer Service and/ or experience from SAP S/4HANA Sales and Service. Previous experience from SAP S/4HANA implementation is seen as a benefit. You also need good understanding of business processes and the ability to translate business needs into IT requirements.

  • Participate in and lead creation of solution roadmaps both on operational and strategic levels to establish future state vision, shaping the existing landscape to match emerging technologies and the SAP S/4HANA capabilities
  • Translate business expectations into a deliverable solution proposal plan based on the SAP S/4HANA solution portfolio together with rest of the Information Management team, business and externals
  • Participate in the SAP S/4HANA design and blueprinting and be part of the SAP S/4HANA Design Authority Board
  • Create and maintain architecture documentation as part of business projects and operations
  • Perform cross-functional analysis to optimise the process flow between modules in end to end scenarios
  • Provide decision makers in the business lines and support functions with solution recommendations

Qualifications:

  • Education: M.Sc. / B.Sc. or equivalent in Information Technology, Computer Science or similar
  • Very good team working skills in a global environment
  • Proactive, development-minded and goal-focused attitude to work
  • Good leadership and management skills, ability to handle stress
  • Fluent written and spoken English, ability to communicate complex topics to non-IT stakeholders
  • Very good documentation, visualization and presentation skills
  • Design thinking, experience from Service Design is a plus, key is the ability to transform requirements into solution proposals
  • Functional and technical experience of SAP Sales and Distribution and Customer Service modules (other modules seen as a benefit)
  • Understanding of E2E business value flows, including reporting
  • It’s a plus if you have already looked into the fundamentals of SAP S/4HANA and you are eager to explore more
  • You have already touched upon new SAP technologies such as SAP Fiori and the SAP Cloud Platform and you’re eager to learn more
  • Knowledge in SAP integrations, both internal and external integrations e.g. Idocs and Odata protocols and Webservices
  • End-to-end cycle SAP ERP implementation experience, from project preparation through go-live

Possible locations for this position are our IM locations in Finland (Helsinki/Vaasa/Turku).
