We are looking for a Talent Acquisition Parter to join our awesome global Talent Acquisition Services team. 
 

As a Talent Acquisition Partner, you will be responsible for the end-to-end recruitment process in Finland by supporting hiring managers of all levels to source, assess, and hire the best talent for Wärtsilä. 
You will report to Talent Acquisition Europe Team Lead and Talent Acquisition Services Lead.
 
Location: The preferred location for this position is in Helsinki or Vaasa, Finland, but for the right individual we would consider remote locations in Finland
 
What will you be doing?
 
As Talent Acquisition Partner, your work will focus on these responsibilities:

  • Perform and coordinate immediate activities to meet objectives.
  • Act as a Senior HR Expert in defined responsibility area with global scope.
  • Manage, develop and perform independently complex professional activities supporting HR within own responsibility area.
  • Ownership of end-to-end recruiting cycle for all vacancies in the region, using cost-effective techniques and in accordance with company policies, procedures and processes.
  • Follow and use global talent acquisition processes.
  • Support HR organisation with high level expertise aligned with Wärtsilä’s global HR guidelines and relevant legislation in the area of organizational development & design; resourcing & recruitment.
  • Partner with hiring managers to guide and support them during their recruitment process, determining the qualification criteria for each position and ensuring a highly effective and engagement assessment process
  • Deliver coaching and/or training to upskill our hiring managers in becoming knowledgeable in recruiting
  • Utilise direct sourcing methods to attract and engage with high-quality candidates whilst ensuring a world-class candidate experience
  • Interview candidates during various hiring stages including phone, first-round and second-round interviews
  • Develop effective relationships with key recruitment agencies and, setting KPIs, managing engagement, tracking performance and measuring quality
  • Effectively track, monitor and analyse key recruiting metrics for region, ensuring highest data quality is captured in all systems and regular analytics are shared with business lines to inform data driven decisions
  • Deliver strong performance on talent acquisition and consistently partner with the business to drive continuous improvements
  • Participate in HR transformation development projects related to Talent Acquisition systems/tools and processes; piloting, testing and scaling new ways of workings within your region to ensure business engagement

You will shine in this role when you have:

  • Proven work experience as a Talent Acquisition Partner / Recruiter or similar role, ideally within a multi-national business
  • Technical / IT recruitment experience, as many of the recruitments are on that field
  • Action oriented with a strong sense of urgency and “can do” attitude
  • Ability to manager stakeholders and be seen as the Talent Expert
  • Expertise in driving sourcing & recruitment techniques
  • The ability to understand and communicate technical elements is considered a plus. It would be good, if you understand the nuances of different technology stacks and possess a strong ability to assess the technical skills of candidates.
  • Solid understanding of leading and managing full-cycle recruitment campaigns for all levels of positions - both volume and specialist. Experience in recruiting for IT roles is considered an advantage.
  • Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems (preferably SuccessFactors) and strong experience of identifying talent through Linkedin Recruiter and other sourcing channels.
  • Strong interviewing experience and an understanding of diverse candidate assessment methodologies
  • Highly resourceful, self-driven with the ability to develop strong relationships quickly and often virtually as well as partnering with business stakeholders, vendors and candidates
  • Ability to report and track recruiting related data within your region to support business decisions
  • Agile working and excellent prioritization skills
  • Positive change management attitude, as we are working together on the change coming through the HR transformation to best serve every one of us in the company

  • The ability to thrive with minimal supervision in a changing environment
