The Department of Industrial Engineering and Management is looking for a project manager for Visentools Project

Visentools is a Research to Business project (R2B) at Aalto University A-Grid Start-up Center. It is funded by Business Finland. The project team prepares the commercialization of a research-driven product and service idea. The team is creating a groundbreaking toolset and service to improve collaboration and communication. It includes a powerful application and visualization tools for more effective self-facilitated meetings and workshops. The toolset enables a participatory approach, effortless documentation of workshop conclusions, and smartly guides progress. We need a project manager and an active team member to join us in revolutionizing how we collaborate and communicate in work-life!

Your responsibilities: Your responsibilities include closely collaborating with the project leaders to manage the preparation, execution, and learning activities of our demo workshops. You will also provide support and assistance to other project team members in managing their work packages, as well as develop and oversee the project's communication activities.

Requirement for the position: Team worker, excellent project management skills, ability to work independently, fluent Finnish and English is needed as demo workshops are organized for teams that work in these languages. Skills related to the Visentools project domain are not mandatory but a bonus if you have them. The position is especially suitable for a master's level student who wants to further develop skills in project management and work in the start-up space.

This is a part-time job (14-20h/week) with a fixed-term contract for 1.9.2023 – 30.6.2024.
