Join our team as a Product Lead and be the voice of our customer companies and entrepreneurs in Procountor development! In this role, you will analyze customer needs and market information, collaborate with stakeholders, and create a successful product strategy for a customer-oriented, and profitable software product. As a member of the Product Management team, you will have the freedom and responsibility to ensure that your area is developing in the right direction by creating a roadmap with defined and tangible steps towards our vision. Your daily tasks will include researching and analyzing the future of financial management for SMEs, engaging with customers and stakeholders, analyzing their needs, proposing innovative solutions, gathering, and documenting information for your proposed initiatives, validating, and concepting product ideas, sharing your understanding with colleagues, and communicating product updates.

Our team of six enthusiastic product management and product design experts are ready to support you in getting started, and you will have the opportunity to bring your ideas to the table to help develop our practices. While this role requires the ability to work and make decisions independently, we value teamwork and collaboration, and you will have plenty of opportunities to share information and support others’ initiatives with your own knowledge and ideas.

Most of your team is located at our headquarters in Espoo, but our other locations are in Turku, Tampere, Oulu, Rovaniemi and Jyväskylä. We work with a flexible hybrid model. 

You can enter a career in Product management from a variety of backgrounds. The most important things are genuine interest in product management and its practices, an interest in software development, and the love for better financial management! Maybe you already work as a PO or product manager for a B2B software, or you have worked as an accountant or controller for SMEs, know the needs of that customer segment well and have an interest in software development. You need to be able to think from the viewpoint of the user, but also keep business targets in mind for both us and our customers.

• A strong knowledge of digital financial management, including reporting, invoicing, and payments.
• Excellent communication skills and the willingness to communicate with both internal and external stakeholders.
• While knowledge or previous experience in software development or technical understanding is an asset, it is not required.
• The ability to gather and combine information from multiple sources to form larger ideas.
• The ability to put together presentations on your ideas and sell them to stakeholders.
• A genuine interest in working for a market-leading growth company in financial software business.
• Fluent skills in both Finnish and English.
