Continuous Improvement Lead
We are now looking for a Continuous Improvement Lead to join the Strategic Development & Continuous Improvement team in our Energy Services business. The team spearheads the efforts to build a continuous improvement culture and mindset in Energy Services and specializes in optimization of services operations using lean and continuous improvement methods, tools and principles. The preferred location for this position is one of our offices in Finland (Helsinki, Vaasa, Turku).
This is an opportunity for you to contribute to strategy execution in our Energy Services business by improving speed and quality of our operations and identifying opportunities to better serve our customers. In this role you will act as the lead for Lean and Continuous Improvement in Energy Services. You will work closely with various business functions in Energy Services and Energy business to identify and improve our operational performance. Your success will be measured by improved customer satisfaction, improved process efficiency and business growth.
The ideal candidate for this role is an experienced Lean/Continuous Improvement professional, preferably Six Sigma Black Belt with hands on experience in implementation of lean in demanding business environments. You can challenge our conventional ways of thinking and working and are comfortable working with complex value streams in a global business context. You will lead cross-functional, informal teams for various change initiatives and are therefore an excellent influencer and facilitator as well as an outstanding team player.
Responsibilities:
- Leading subject matter expert for lean and continuous improvement in Energy Services
- Leads business improvement initiatives targeting to remove waste in our service operations’ value streams
- Collaborates with business functions to improve operational performance through lean implementation, process re-engineering, performance management, process automation and similar
- Develops business cases for change initiatives and supports in defining relevant performance management metrics
- Supports in deployment of continuous improvement methodologies in Energy Services
- Defines change management needs and supports in implementation of change management actions
- Provides coaching, leadership and support on the use of Lean, Six Sigma and other continuous improvement tools
- Leads lean/continuous improvement capability build-up in Energy Services
Requirements:
- Six Sigma Black Belt certification
- Advanced understanding of lean/continuous improvement/operational excellence methodologies
- Experience of leading change initiatives targeting performance improvement using lean/continuous improvement tools and methods
- Solid English presentation and communication skills, fluency in other languages considered an asset
- In this role, some travel will be required.
