In this role, you will be responsible of our business applications tools and technologies in areas such as marketing, sales, and customer service and your primary focus is to ensure that these applications effectively meet our business needs from a technical perspective. Since our business applications are integral to our company’s success, your mission is to foster their development in alignment with business requirements, utilizing modern agile methods. As the tools are the backbone for our business, you will also be looking after maintenance and operations of these tools and technologies. You won't be tackling this responsibility alone, since your role involves leading and developing your team, engaging with stakeholders across various organizational levels, and managing external vendors.

Your superpower is stakeholder co-operation and moving between different abstraction levels is natural for you – you move easily from high level business visions to hard core details of relevant technologies. – hopefully these resonate with you! Most of your team is located at our headquarters in Espoo, but we also have locations in Turku, Tampere, Oulu, Jyväskylä, and Stockholm (you can choose to have your home office at any location). We work with a flexible hybrid model. 

The role is an IT role with a heavy influence on our business’ success. We expect you to have a really good experience in leading the business application domain and concrete showcases of how you have previously delivered results. You are not only focused on high level visions, but also ready to ”roll up your sleeves” and support and coach your team members with the details to get things done.   

• Technology Expertise: A strong understanding of leading various business application-related SaaS technologies and infrastructures, including Microsoft D365, Azure, Hubspot, Zendesk, Intercom. Demonstrate strong experience in applying diverse development, maintenance, and transformation practices, methods, and tools in relevant business technologies.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Build strong relationships with business stakeholders, demonstrating how common ways of working add value to businesses and addressing their issues, while also establishing agreed-upon ways of working regarding development, support, and operations.
• Strategic and Process-Oriented Thinking: Translate business needs into tech language, considering business, tech, users, and cost/benefit. Can shift the team’s mindsets and ways of working toward a more systematic approach and maturity. This requires deep knowledge of both agile methodologies as well as process driven thinking such as Lean and CMMI and   track record of implementing them.
• Leadership and Team Development: Proven leader with concrete showcases, experienced in team management and development in relevant area. Proactive, self-starting leader with effective multitasking abilities.
• Language skills: Fluent skills in English. Mastering Finnish language is considered as advantage.
