We are now looking for a Project Manager/Planner to strengthen the T&V Test Services team in its strive to build up future fuel systems for our test engines.
Position information:
This position is permanent and the location for this position is Vaasa.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure sufficient and high-quality communication within the project team, including the main stakeholders
- Have ownership and get others committed to reaching a successful outcome
- Specify project objectives, requirements, scope and targets with the help of the project team and critical stakeholders to match the business need
- Create and maintain project master schedules
- Have ownership of the time schedule and propose actions to reach successful project outcomes and deadlines
- Ensure that safety is in focus in all activities
- Ensure that the objectives and targets of the project follow the changing requirements originating from the market
- Support, encourage and steer the project team throughout the project phases, such as design, prototyping, documentation, commissioning, testing and validation
- Contribute to project management development within Marine Power Supply R&D and Engineering organisation
Requirements:
As an ideal candidate, you have the passion to contribute to technical solutions of sustainable fuels and products. You have the energy to overcome obstacles and find out alternative ways.
The following skills, attitudes and background are beneficial:
- Engineering background (B.Sc. or M.Sc.) in mechanical or similar
- Willingness to develop own capabilities and contribute to the development of the team
- Ability to set targets and drive changes within the organisation
- Ability to manage conflicts and work in a cooperative way under pressure
- Ability to delegate and prioritise
- Experience in project planning and execution in practice
- Proficient MS Project skills
- Good understanding of technology and product development
- Experience in leading projects or being a line manager in an R&D environment
- Project Management
- Experience with Agile Project Management Methodologies or Change Management is seen as an advantage
- Good English, Finnish, and Swedish knowledge
