Are you a master’s student in marketing or communication? Are you interested in fostering wellbeing and inclusion in a university environment?

Oasis of Radical Wellbeing is a project at Aalto University that gathers information about wellbeing services at Aalto, develops structural wellbeing and spreads information about holistic wellbeing as an essential part of the Aalto everyday life - of the students as well as teachers and all Aalto staff.

From January 2024 onwards the Oasis team will have two core members: a project manager and a community developer and a team consisting of key stakeholders. We are looking for a communications and marketing student to join our team for a paid (17 EUR/hour, monthly salary depending on hours worked), part-time contract (5-15/week). The length of the contract is until the end of the year 2024. We hope that the selected candidate can start in the position in February 2024.

Please note that the candidates for this position should be currently living in Finland (if on residence permit, the selected candidate is personally responsible for obtaining a residence permit for the length of the contract).

Core duties:

  • Produce written materials (social media posts, blog posts, news items) regarding wellbeing and inclusion
  • Produce social media content on the @aaltowellbeing Instagram channel

Selection criteria:

  • Skills to produce content on social media, especially Instagram
  • Skills to produce written text on the basis of existing material
  • Interest in wellbeing and EDI (equity, diversity and inclusion)
  • Experience in using Drupal and Canva or a willingness to learn
  • Good language skills in English (written and spoken)
  • Self-leadership skills
  • Good interaction skills
  • Working life skills
