Wärtsilä Energy Business, Engine Power Plants (EPP) is looking for a Transport Coordinator for inbound transportation & logistics in Finland. Location of the position is Vaasa, Finland.

What will you be doing?

As a Transport Coordinator , you will be part of EPP Logistics team, main responsibility is inbound transportation for Wärtsilä engines and power plant equipment. You will be working mostly towards vendors and co-operation partners. You will be working mostly with transport companies, vendors and co-operation partners.

As a Transport Coordinator, you will focus on these responsibilities:

• Coordination of engine and general cargo deliveries to ports (Energy Business, Marine Business)
• Coordination of courier shipments
• Arranging Airfreights for project document packages
• Reviewing and approving invoices according to transport contracts
• Cooperating with relevant internal and/or external stakeholders

To be successful in this role, we expect you to have:

• M.Sc. or B.Sc. in technical or commercial area or equivalent experience
• Systematic and organised way of working, good communication and coordination skills
• Good command of Finnish and English, other languages are seen as an advantage
