Orion Corporation is currently transforming its ERP and Planning platforms to benefit from the latest SAP S/4HANA -technologies. The implementation phase will be finalized during 2024 and we are currently setting up the organization to both run and develop the platform further for the future. To that end, we have a great opportunity for a Source to Pay professional to take a key role in the Orion ERP and S2P ecosystem and support us through our journey to SAP S/4HANA and beyond.

Description of position

In this position, you will have a leading role both in developing new solutions and ways of working, and on ensuring the existing solutions and platforms deliver on their promise to the Orion business functions and other stakeholders in the Source to Pay domain.

Your main responsibilities include:

• Developing and supporting IT solutions and platforms for the Sourcing and Procurement area, as well other closely related solutions and integrations.
• Proactively seeking opportunities to apply new innovative solutions and realize the value of the existing assets, both in close collaboration with the internal and external stakeholders and partners.
• Managing the IT development roadmap for the Source to Pay domain, in collaboration and alignment with the business stakeholders and broader IT organization.
• Leading and contributing to project and enhancement work of all sizes within your own process area.
• Taking ownership of the end-to-end lifecycle of IT solutions and platforms in your area and ensuring business fit, service levels, business continuity, solution documentation and quality standards are met.

Orion Information Management (IM) employs +80 people, of which approximately two thirds are in Espoo. Other locations are Turku, Kuopio, Hanko, Mumbai and Nottingham. Requirements

Skills and competences needed for this role:

• Suitable university degree and/or other relevant working experience in the Source to Pay area
• Relevant experience in SAP and/or other S2P solutions in a multivendor setting, prior experience or knowledge on SAP S/4HANA, SAP Solution Manager, SAP Fiori design system and the overall SAP platform is considered advantage
• Familiarity with Source to Pay business processes and associated system integrations across the systems, providing you with the capability to design solutions which fit not only to Orion system architecture but also to the business processes
• Ability to manage the solution documentation over the lifecycle, including User Requirement Specifications, Process diagrams, Configuration-, development- and architecture documentation and test plans, scripts, results and reports
• Knowledge on the potential of S2P digital solutions and automation, experience on continuous development of processes and associated IT applications
• Ability to work, collaborate and communicate effectively with various cross-functional stakeholders in a matrix organization
• Continual IT service improvement and development mindset and customer focus, business acumen. You understand the business use cases in your service area and can investigate how to get the best out of the underlying IT services
• Ownership, initiative, drive and user focus. You can take accountability of the issues that occur and be proactive in searching for potential problems. You know how to achieve excellent user outcomes.
• Ability and willingness to learn and grow in the role, and potentially beyond
• Service Development / Management Framework knowledge / certificates seen as an advantage
• Experience of Pharma / Life Science industry or other regulated environment is considered as an advantage
