Orion Corporation is currently transforming its ERP and Planning platforms to benefit from the latest SAP S/4HANA -technologies. The implementation phase will be finalized during 2024 and we are currently setting up the organization to both run and develop the platform further for the future. To that end, we have a great opportunity for a seasoned SAP professional to take a broad role in the Orion ERP ecosystem and support us through our journey to SAP S/4HANA and beyond.

Description of position

The IT Service Owner and Team Lead will have the following key responsibilities / roles:

• IT Service Owner for the Supply Chain service area, consisting of SAP and other IT technologies, platforms and integrations
• Act as a team and people leader for the Supply chain service area IT professionals
• Act as an SAP Centre of Excellence lead within IM organization

 The person will ensure:

• End-to-end Service accountability within the Supply chain Service area with the focus on business fit, service consumer satisfaction, cost efficiency, documentation, compliance, and business continuity
• Building a prioritized multi-year development roadmap and management of the development lifecycle end to end for the Supply Chain service areas, in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders
• Accountability and Co-ordination of the SAP platform development roadmap and application lifecycle management activities across the IM organization
• Successful implementation of SAP CoE collaboration model within the IM organization and beyond
• Service vendors, contracts and costs are managed, and will have a key role in service sourcing
• Adequate reporting, documentation and service management standards are met
• Day-to-day people management and leadership activities, in supporting, developing and coaching the direct reports

Location for the position is either Espoo or Turku, and we also support hybrid working model.

Orion Information Management (IM) employs +80 people, of which approximately two thirds are in Espoo. Other locations are Turku, Kuopio, Hanko, Mumbai and Nottingham. Requirements

To be successful in this role you will possess the following skills and competences:

• Prior experience of successful corporate level IT development and service operations management in a multinational / multivendor environment, with a focus on the SAP platform and associated integrations and architecture
• Demonstrated understanding of the SAP ALM system, change and rerelease management lifecycle and preferably hands-on experience with the SAP platform solutions. Broad SAP solutions and SAP architecture knowledge considered as a plus
• People and team lead experience, servant leader mindset and motivation to help others to achieve their goals
• Team and business first mindset, ability to work, collaborate and communicate effectively with various cross-functional stakeholders in a matrix organization
• Ownership, initative, drive and user focus, business acumen. You know how to see the bigger picture, understand the business use cases in your service area and can investigate how to get the best out of the underlying IT services
• Service Development / Management Framework knowledge / certificates
• Experience of Pharma / Life Science industry or other regulated environment is considered as an advantage
