Interested to join the Orion Information Management (IM) organization as a IT Solution Lead - Production, to develop our SAP and other production and packaging area solutions and future ways of working?

Orion Corporation is currently transforming its ERP and Planning platforms to benefit from the latest SAP S/4HANA -technologies. The implementation phase will be finalized during 2024 and we are currently setting up the organization to both run and develop the platform further for the future. To that end, we have a great opportunity for an SAP Production professional to take a key role in the Orion ERP ecosystem and support us through our journey to SAP S/4HANA and beyond.

Description of position

In this position, you will have a leading role both in developing the SAP Production area solutions and ways of working further, and on ensuring the solutions currently in production deliver on their promise to the Orion business functions and other stakeholders in the SAP Production domain.

Your main responsibilities include:

• Develop and support IT solutions and platforms around Production and Packaging as well other closely related solutions and integrations (e.g. MES).
• Proactively seek opportunities to realize the value of the existing assets in close collaboration with the internal and external stakeholders and partners.
• Managing the IT development roadmap for the Production domain, in collaboration and alignment with the business stakeholders and broader IT organization.
• Lead and contribute to project and enhancement work of all sizes within your own process area.
• Taking ownership of the end-to-end lifecycle of IT solutions and platforms in your area and ensuring business fit, service levels, business continuity, solution documentation and quality standards are met.

Location for the position is either Espoo or Turku, and we also support hybrid working model.

Orion Information Management (IM) employs +80 people, of which approximately two thirds are in Espoo. Other locations are Turku, Kuopio, Hanko, Mumbai and Nottingham. Requirements

Skills and competences needed for this role:

• Suitable university degree and/or other relevant working experience in the Production area
• Relevant experience in SAP and / or other Production area solutions in a multivendor setting, prior experience or knowledge on SAP S/4HANA, SAP Solution Manager and SAP Fiori design system is considered advantage.
• Familiarity with the Production area business processes, providing you with the capability to design solutions which fit not only to system architecture but also to the business processes
• Knowledge on the potential of the Production area digital solutions, automation and integration to MES and other platforms, experience on continuous development of processes and associated IT applications.
• Ability to manage the solution documentation over the lifecycle, including User Requirement Specifications, Process diagrams, Configuration-, development- and architecture documentation and test plans, scripts, results and reports.
• Ability to work, collaborate and communicate effectively with various cross-functional stakeholders in a matrix organization.
• Continual IT service improvement and development mindset and customer focus, business acumen. You understand the business use cases in your service area and can investigate how to get the best out of the underlying IT services.
• Ownership, initiative, drive and user focus. You can take accountability of the issues that occur and be proactive in searching for potential problems. You know how to achieve excellent user outcomes.
• Ability and willingness to learn and grow in the role, and potentially beyond
• Service Development / Management Framework knowledge / certificates seen as an advantage
• Experience of Pharma / Life Science industry or other regulated environment is considered as an advantage.
• Ability to communicate in Finnish with production colleagues.
