Then this could be the perfect role for you! We are now looking for a colleague to join our team and drive the fraud prevention strategy across all Telia markets.

As a Group Fraud Prevention Manager, you will be responsible to drive the common fraud agenda for Telia Company across all markets which includes both prevention, detection, and mitigation. You will play an important role and be the vital link between all stakeholders in the area, both internally and externally. As an expert in the Telecom fraud area, you will be driving the agenda of developing and maintaining important processes and controls using various fraud prevention and detection IT-systems and tools. You will need to combine the more IT-related parts of the job, to work in close collaboration with all Fraud Prevention Specialists located in the different markets. You will be the expert and use your project management skills to coordinate, align and secure best practice to minimize fraud.


You will be part of the management team for Center of Excellence (CoE) for Credit and Fraud Management within Telia Company and report to Head of CoE, Credit & Fraud Management.

The responsibilities include, but is not limited to:

  • Design and drive the fraud prevention strategy across all Telia markets
  • Developing, implementing, and executing policies, processes, and guidelines to prevent fraud and financial loss, in collaboration with the local Fraud Prevention Specialists
  • Drive and define development requirements for IT systems within the fraud domain to support our strategic plan
  • Guide and provide local Fraud Prevention Specialists with processes for identification and blocking of traffic/technical fraud and drive alignment across markets/countries
  • Ensure continuous improvement and share best practice regarding Telecom Fraud to prevent and mitigate financial loss, protect our customers and our brand
  • Act as “ambassador” and be an active member in the internal, as well as external Fraud community and provide the organization with market insights
  • Be the Fraud Prevention spokesperson for Telia Company

Is this you?

We need you to master both technology and business skills. You like to learn and question how things are done today. You are hands-on and want to get result fast, but you are also able to be strategic and think more long-term.


For this role you need around 10+ years’ tactical and strategic experience within fraud​ area, where Telecom experience is a plus. You have relevant operational experience from working with preventing fraud using various IT-systems and tools. You look for solutions, you are structured and a good communicator. Over the years, you have gained a good business understanding and a wide network within the Fraud area.
