We are looking for an Internal Communications Specialist whose main responsibility is planning and developing interesting and relevant content for our internal communications channels. This position is preferred in Helsinki, Finland, but we offer the possibility of hybrid remote work. 

Your role and responsibilities:

As an Internal Communications Specialist, your work will include planning and creating content for our internal channels, counselling our internal teams in their communications needs and supporting in communicating our internal transformation project communication. These tasks can also be adjusted based on your individual skills and interests. You’ll be working as a part of the Corporate Internal Communications team with diverse expertise, and report to the Head of Internal and Regional Communications. 

In this position, you will be responsible for:

  • Planning and developing relevant content for our internal communications channels, e.g. our SharePoint intranet, Viva Engage communities, and Teams Townhall events
  • Working together with our Human Resources, Information Management, Cyber Security, Legal and Corporate Relations teams, to ensure a constant flow of interesting, timely, and topical content in our internal channels
  • Participating in communicating our financial results to our internal audiences
  • Creating and driving internal communications campaigns 

Requirements for the position: 

  • Around 4-6 years of experience in Communications or Marketing
  • University degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing or equivalent
  • Excellent written and verbal English language skills. Finnish language skill is seen as a plus

To be able to succeed in the position, we hope you have: 

  • Experience in internal communications planning, both short- and long-term 
  • Experience building and running SharePoint-based Intranet
  • Good working skills in photo and video editing (e.g. PhotoShop, Canva)
  • You are proactive, creative, and collaborative, have attention to detail, and work well under pressure


Seen as a plus

  • Experience in financial and/or sustainability communications
