Digital products and capabilities form an integral part of the customer value we provide through our Lifecycle Solutions offering and form the basis for our journey towards operation of autonomous power plants.

We are now looking for an

Architect, Digital Products & Autonomous Operations

to ensure our data & cloud platforms meet the needs of the internal & external development teams to build and connect business enabling capabilities. The preferred location is Vaasa, Helsinki or Turku. Other locations in European time zone may be considered.
  
What you will be doing
 
As an Architect you work closely with internal stakeholders and engage with customers, suppliers and partners. Your work together with Information Management and Digital Product Development will ensure that we have the needed capabilities and interfaces on the data platforms to share information to and from existing and new applications. Your work will also ensure our digital development is holistic, reusable and scalable. The tasks can also be adjusted based on your individual skills and interests and we offer possibility to guide/develop advanced solutions and APIs. You’ll be working as a part Energy Services Product Management and Offering Development Team.

To be successful in this role, we expect you to have: 

  • A Bachelor or Master’s degree in relevant area
  • Excellent skills in digital development and relevant digital technologies
  • Ability to communicate architectural boundaries with internal stakeholders and external partners
  • Strive to build digital infrastructure that can deliver business value
  • Analytical skills, as well as creative thinking and problem-solving skills 
  • Ability to think outside-the-box and challenge conventional ways of working  
  • Mentality of a team player with high integrity, good listening skills and software development-oriented mindset
  • Fluent written and spoken English
  • Experience in solution business seen as a plus
  • Experience of agile, design thinking or service design methodology
  • Be a role model and drive our Wärtsilä values and purpose
