We are now looking for a (Senior) Chief Project Engineer, Civil, to join our Civil Engineering team and work for a better future. The preferred location for the position is Vaasa, Turku or Helsinki, Finland. 

In this position, your main responsibilities include:

  • Safeguards that work under their own responsibility area are executed according to contract/requirements, specifications, instructions, and policies
  • Plan the works with the total costs, schedule, and customer needs in focus
  • Integration responsibility for own technical area, including integration engineering between cross-functions and 3rd party equipment suppliers within technical areas
  • Technical ownership of project solution
  • Manage project activities according to contract/requirements together with external vendors and internal team members
  • Responsible for all technical correspondence and assistance with the customer and other stakeholders
  • Be a representative of the company
  • Participate in customer/stakeholder negotiations when needed and maintain good customer/stakeholder relationships
  • Follow-up and report quality, use of resources, costs, schedule and scope of the responsibility area
  • Identify, mitigate, monitor and report risks in own responsibility area

To succeed in this position, you are expected to have:  

  • M.Sc or B.Sc in Engineering or equivalent
  • Several years experience in solution development and global project business
  • Project management skills
  • Excellent communication and cooperation skills
  • Be able to drive for changes and provide results
  • Excellent skills in English, other languages seen as a plus
  • Possibility to travel
