The School of Engineering is one of the six schools of Aalto University. The main task of the School of Engineering is to renew technologies related to the technical industry and the built environment through scientific research, technological innovation and inspiring education. We are now looking for a

Master's Thesis Candidate to work on the Proof of Concept Process of an Innovative Energy Storage Material

We are looking for a qualified enthusiastic MSc candidate preferably from a related Aalto University’s MSc programs in the areas of chemical, materials, or energy engineering or related fields. The thesis is fully funded and will be conducted under the umbrella of a Business Finland project. The candidate will be instructed and supported by the project consortium.

• Literature review

• Materials development in bigger scale and characterization

• Proof of concept thermal measurements

• Thesis report

Your experience and ambitions

The fulfill the project targets the candidate needs to have a good knowledge and understanding of

• Chemical, Materials or Energy engineering

• Familiarity with common material characterization methods

• Work or training experience in materials or chemistry/chemical engineering labs

• Familiarity with Thermal measurements

• Good communication skills in English
