We at Marine Power, Power Supply are looking for a BI Developer to strengthen our Business Development team. The preferred location for this position is Finland or one of our other European locations. 
  
Your role and responsibilities:  
 
As a BI developer, your work is about data analysis and visualisation of the analysis results, development of reports and data models, and creation of insights and support for decision-making in the fields of financial, production, processes, and business intelligence-related data. Job includes also utilising the different branches of AI in the data analysis/prediction and supporting business development activities to meet strategic business objectives. The maintenance and end-user support for Power Supply BI applications is also a part of the job.
 
To succeed in this position, we expect you to have: 

  • MSc / BSc in a relevant field (Economics, Financial Accounting, Computer Science or equivalent) 
  • Experience with Power BI development
  • Experience with database queries with SQL
  • Experience in the maritime industry
  • Good communication skills and fluency in English, both written and spoken
  • Pro-active, analytical, systematic, and organised way of working
  • Excellent customer service skills and problem-solving capabilities
  • Skills in data analytics and programming AI / ML algorithms
  • Experience with SAP is a plus
