This role is offered as a permanent contract and can be based in Helsinki, Vaasa, or Turku (Finland); Madrid or Bermeo (Spain); Trieste or Genova (Italy); or Budaörs (Hungary). We embrace a hybrid working model, offering flexibility to work partially remotely.
What will you be doing?
As a Product Designer, you will play a key role in shaping user experiences by conducting in-depth user research, designing intuitive interfaces, and creating high-fidelity prototypes. Your responsibilities for the role include, but are not limited to:
- Conducting user research through both qualitative and quantitative methods, including interviews, surveys, and usability testing, to uncover user needs, pain points, and behaviours.
- Translating research insights into design solutions that address the specific needs of different user types.
- Designing wireframes, mock-ups, and interactive prototypes to visualise and validate concepts.
- Crafting intuitive and visually engaging user interfaces for both desktop and mobile platforms.
- Producing high-fidelity designs, including detailed interaction specifications and user flow documentation to support development.
- Collaborating closely with developers, subject matter experts, and analysts throughout the product lifecycle to ensure seamless implementation.
- Advocating for user-centred design and fostering a customer-centric culture within the team.
The following will enable you to succeed in this role:
- BSc or MSc in a relevant field, equivalent practical experience in UX design, product design, or a related field will also be considered.
- Good knowledge of usability, UX, and human factors principles to create intuitive and effective user experiences.
- Experience producing clear UX documentation, including workflows, requirements, use cases, usage scenarios, and UI kit specifications for developers.
- Proficiency with Figma and Adobe Creative Suite tools.
- Hands-on experience with B2B online products and interactions.
- A keen eye for detail, visual aesthetics, interaction quality, and overall usability.
- Solid understanding of front-end development concepts and a collaborative mindset that supports effective teamwork with developers.
- Confidence in presenting and defending design decisions based on user needs and business objectives.
- Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus.
- Willingness to travel.
