We are now looking for an

Customer oriented Solution Lead, Workplace Solutions 

with widespread IT knowledge for our global Workplace Solutions team which is responsible for modern workplace experience across all Meyer companies in Finland and Germany. You will be based in Turku, Finland.

The role 

As a Solution Lead, you play a pivotal role in shaping and advancing our IT architecture and landscape for the modern workplace. Your responsibilities include understanding business requirements, defining strategic objectives for our IT environment, planning the path to achieve these goals, and initiating essential projects.

Collaborating closely with both business and IT colleagues, as well as service providers, you’ll deliver cutting-edge solutions that serve as the bedrock for our shipbuilding processes. Additionally, you’ll actively support and drive the performance of our service providers, ensuring seamless delivery of daily IT services.

You 

Ideally you are an experienced IT professional with multiple years of background in implementing hardware and software solutions.

More importantly, you understand and/or are eager to learn the technical requirements and organizational processes to manage an enterprise workplace with more than 7000 devices at multiple European countries.

You enjoy collaboration and building bridges across organizational boundaries. As member of a global team working in English is natural for you. As a trustful business partner, you can communicate with your local contacts in Finnish. Speaking German will optionally help you navigating through the whole organization.

As a person you are goal oriented and willing to explore and find the best solutions serving our business needs. You want to continuously develop yourself and the ways of working of the work community. We succeed as a team, and you are an important part of it. Even without formal power you always act as a role model for the whole team.
