We are now looking for  

Head of Strategic Planning

to work at our shipyard site in Turku, Finland. 

The role 

In this role, you will be leading and working with different size strategic projects or programs as a member of a core team. You will act as the PMO of strategic project portfolio and be the owner of the company annual strategy process. Responsibilities also include creating and revising the business plan for upcoming 3-5 years together with line organization. 

Head of Strategic Planning works in close cooperation with the executive management team of Meyer Turku and reports to the Chief Strategy and Transformation Officer (CTO) of Meyer Turku. 

You 

We are looking for a candidate with a relevant educational background (Masters in Engineering, Economics or Business Administration, or equivalent) and at least 7 years of experience in a similar role. 

Key competencies for the role include the following: 

• Ability to quickly see perspectives and select the essential ones, supported by structuring and quantification
• Ability to achieve in different teams with different people
• Ability to influence without direct line reporting
• Self-starter
• High tolerance for ambiguity 

As a person you are goal oriented and willing to explore and find the best solutions. You enjoy collaboration and building bridges across organizational boundaries, and want to continuously develop yourself and the ways of working. You communicate effectively in both English and Finnish. Proficiency in MS Office tools, especially Excel and Power Point, is a must. 

A passed drug test and a medical approval are required for the job.
