We are looking for an On-Call Trainee Process Engineer with main responsibility in fuel systems process design. The preferred location for this position is Vaasa (Finland) but also Turku (Finland), and Trieste (Italy) are negotiable. We offer the possibility of hybrid remote work. This On-Call Trainee position is meant for a person who is currently studying in University of Applied Sciences or University. As an On-Call Trainee, you can work 0-25 hours per week.
Your role and responsibilities:
As a Process Engineer, your work will include designing P&ID of fuel supply systems for LNG, Methanol, and Ammonia, performing thermodynamics and fluid dynamics simulations, defining technical specifications for process equipment (pumps, heat exchangers), and operating and functional procedures. The tasks can also be adjusted based on your skills and interests. You’ll be working as a part of a young, international and dynamic Fuel Gas Supply Systems Engineering team with diverse expertise and you will have an active role in shaping the decarbonization of the Marine Industry
Requirements for the position:
- BSc in the field of Technology and Engineering
- Knowledge of the marine/shipbuilding industry is seen as an advantage
- Experience with AutoCAD
- Experience with Process simulation software (Ansys, AFT Fathom)

- Good technical knowledge and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently
- Responsible, flexible, proactive
- Fluency in the English language, both written and verbal
- Good communication and collaboration skills
