Are you a strategic driver for future connectivity? Do you want to be a part of the Mobile Networks leadership team serving over 20 million customers in five countries with voice services?
As the Head of Core Voice Networks, you will lead a critical function within the Mobile Networks organization, overseeing the strategic and operational management of our Voice Core platforms across five countries. This is a senior leadership role with responsibility for a team of over 60 highly skilled professionals, including five direct reports distributed across our international footprint.
You will also serve as a key member of the Mobile Networks Leadership Team, contributing to the broader transformation journey of the unit and driving innovation, efficiency, and excellence in service delivery. You will be accountable for the full lifecycle of our core voice platforms, which include IMS, CNDB (HLR, HSS, UDM), CS Core, Interconnect, and Fixed Voice. Your leadership will ensure these platforms are robust, scalable, and aligned with our business goals and technology evolution.
The position is located in Telia Headquarters, Solna, Stockholm or at any other Telia country office (Helsinki, Vilnius, Tallinn or Oslo) and reports to Head of Mobile Networks, Andres Suazo.
Key responsibilities:
- Platform Lifecycle: Manage the full lifecycle of core voice platforms from planning to decommissioning.
- Operations: Ensure platform stability, performance, and incident resolution.
- Configuration: Optimize service and platform settings to meet business needs.
- Integration & Automation: Lead integration, testing, and automation of new technologies.
- Vendor Management: Oversee vendor selection, contracts, and performance.
- Capacity & Risk: Monitor capacity, performance, and mitigate operational risks.

Your professional experience:
- Experience of management on executive levels and strategic work on a company level, including a proven ability to supervise and motivate people as well as develop solid cross-functional collaboration
- Solid technical knowledge of Mobile Networks, working in network development or operations roles
- Experience in supervising and guiding teams in technical and complex environments through change
- Skilled voice core network competence
- Experience in Agile WoW and DevOps, the SAFe framework, and ITIL
- Fluent English, both in writing and orally
- Master of Science or similar education
