The Marine Technical Academy is an entirely new training program that will enhance technical knowledge across our Marine sales community.
We are looking for a Program Coordinator, Technical Academy, Marine. The preferred location for this position is Turku, Finland, as it facilitates effective collaboration with colleagues from Industrial Design and the Wärtsilä Land & Sea Academy. This is a temporary position with a duration of 6 months.
The purpose of the position is to support the finalization of Tech Academy visuals and assist the Program Manager with the creation of the Tech Academy structure and content for our Marine business.
Your work will focus on these responsibilities:
- Assisting the Program Owner and Program Manager
- Collaborating with colleagues from Industrial Design, Wärtsilä Land & Sea Academy, and Marine Businesses to design, create, and deliver an accessible eLearning program comprising multiple modules
- Ensuring steady progress and transparent program management
- Escalating any issues or delays to the program manager in a timely manner
To be able to succeed in the position, we expect you to have:
- An interest in corporate Learning and Development, ideally as a student or early-career professional
- The ability to connect visual design with content created by subject matter experts
- A collaborative mindset to support the development of eLearning modules with the Wärtsilä Land & Sea Academy
- Strong self-motivation and the ability to work independently, as line management may not be co-located
