Accounts Receivable Coordinator

We are currently seeking an Accounts Receivable Coordinator for a permanent position at Aalto University's Finance Shared Services.
Your role
In your role as an accounts receivable coordinator, you will be responsible for AR daily processes, reconciliations, and collection assignments. Your duties will also include maintaining the finance customer and supplier registry and confirming suppliers' bank account details. Additionally, you will participate in payment processing and accounting tasks as needed.
The Finance Shared Services play an important role in supporting the efficiency of the university's financial processes. A key part of your work is advising users on questions related to general and project invoicing. You take the initiative in solving challenges and participate actively in developing both system and shared guidelines in your area.
Your experience and ambitions
- Relevant education and diverse experience in financial tasks
- Up-to-date IT skills, with effective use of Excel
- Experience with Oracle Fusion ERP (particularly AR and PPM modules) will make it easier to take on the role and is considered an advantage
- Enthusiastic approach to system development, identifying and proposing development opportunities, while also handling routine tasks
- Fluent communication skills in both Finnish and English, as our finance organization operates in both languages, and the role involves advising other users

We work in a hybrid model, with the primary workplace located at the Otaniemi Campus in Espoo, Finland. Life on the revitalized campus is vibrant, featuring stunning architecture, tranquil nature, and a variety of cafes, restaurants, and services, all complemented by excellent public transportation connections.
The salary for the position is determined in accordance with the University Salary System and is at level MV08. The salary range for this position is approximately 3200 – 3600 €/month.
