Wärtsilä Global Business Services (WGBS) provides reliable, scalable, and standardized services to support core business operations. WGBS partners with businesses and drive continuous improvements in end-to-end processes for enhanced effectiveness, quality, efficiency, and compliance.

WGBS Invoice to Pay team is now looking for an energetic and committed students to work as an On-call Trainees to strengthen the Invoice to Pay team located in Vaasa, Finland. You will be working with Wärtsilä companies around the world and supporting with the handling of purchase invoices and other related tasks. As an On-Call Trainee, you can work up to 25 hours per week. The person who is selected for this role needs to be a full-time student studying for a degree in Finland.   


Your role and responsibilities:
 
As an On-call trainee in the team of Invoice to Pay Accountants your work will include handling incoming purchase invoices, solving issues andbeing in contact with various Wärtsilä teams and suppliers to improve the end-to-end process.  You’ll be working as a part of a committed and energetic Invoice to Pay team with diverse expertise. You will not be working on this alone, even though the work requires a high level of independency, as you will have the support from the team. 
 
For us to be the best match, we expect you to have some studies in accounting and experience from working in a customer-facing role. For you to succeed in this position, we hope you have a mindset for continuous improvement and are open to learning new skills.


Requirements for the position: 

  • Currently studying Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, or similar in Vaasa
  • Systematic and organized way of working
  • Self-driven and development-oriented attitude
  • Good knowledge of English, other language skills considered a benefit
  • The right to work in Finland
