We are looking for a Project Engineer, Mechanical / Process with a main responsibility for project delivery and engineering activities in Engine Power Plants. Location for this permanent position is Vaasa Finland. We offer the possibility of hybrid remote work.
Your role and responsibilities:
As a Project Engineer you will:
- Safeguard that work under your own responsibility area is executed according to delivery contract requirements
- Support project and sales teams with project-specific Mechanical & Process design
- Carry out and coordinate assigned project activities with internal team members, vendors, customers, and cross-functional stakeholders
- Create project-specific technical specifications and design requirements for purchasing purposes
- Support site team during installation and commissioning
- Participate in developing and maintaining tools and work methods in own responsibility area
- Engineer process flow diagrams and device lists
- Perform process calculations and make process descriptions
Requirements for the position:
- BSc. or MSc. in Mechanical Engineering, Process Engineering, Energy Engineering or similar
- Being self-going, motivated to learn and grow professionally, and willing to travel as well as having the ability to understand and work with diverse cultures
- Good communication, presentation and negotiation skills
- Excellent teamwork skills with an ability to work independently
- We value a proactive mindset
- Good command in English
- Ability to communicate orally and in writing with different stakeholders
- Previous work experience in the field of Engineering is considered as an advantage
