In Finland we have over 900 employees in Vantaa and Joensuu. Thermo Fisher Scientific is currently recruiting for a .NET developer to our effective Software R&D development team in Vantaa to work with world known scientific laboratory instrument systems. As a .NET developer you will develop Windows software in both desktop and embedded environments.

As a .NET developer you work together with the software team in different projects related to DNA/RNA purification, food safety and sample analysis. You are a team player and you are enthusiastic to develop world-class, user-friendly and cloud connected software. Thermo Fisher Scientific will provide you with an environment of challenging work, growth and development through the course of your career.

Experience:

• Hands-on coding experience in C#/.NET technologies
• Experience with Windows front end technologies, like XAML (WPF, UWP) and WinForms
• Willingness to learn & explore new technologies
• Additionally, valued if you have experience with scientific instruments, Windows Embedded development, programming with modern web technologies, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and IoT environments.
