Product Development Manager, AutoMine

We are currently looking for an innovative and committed Product Development Manager, AutoMine to support our current and growing business in the field of digital mining products. You will be working in a team with our other product development managers, and closely co-operating with our product lines and project office. This is a permanent role based in Tampere, Finland reporting directly to the Product Development Manager, Automation and member of the Product Development Management Team.
Your responsibilities
You are responsible for an AutoMine® development team. While managing activities to create new products and solutions, you need to:
- Ensure that disciplined and structured engineering methods and tools are used, and all development activities are delivered on time and on budget
- Responsible for the development team and competence development to ensure that the best skills are always available
- Develop associated processes to reach product development KPIs and achieve overall quality
- Ensure that business and technical stakeholders including external partners are well aligned
- Participate in sales proposal work
- Innovative approach on applying new and existing technologies for the mining industry
- Deliver upon commitments
Your skills and qualifications
You have a relevant technical education (e.g. Master of Science) and prior experience with software development in international business environment, knowledge of data management and data processing. You are fluent in English and you have at least five years of experience in delivering technically advanced complex projects and in both project and people management.
You can establish strong professional relationships directly with relevant stakeholders and communicate with them at all levels. You understand wider business needs and find innovative solutions to complex problems. You have excellent leadership, change management, networking, presentation and negotiation skills. You can work proactively and systematically in a fast-changing business environment with a strong success focus. You have willingness to travel internationally.
