We in Fira Cloud team are now looking for an experienced backend developer to join our expanding developer team. Your main responsibility will be developing backend for our Sitedrive web-app and mobile applications. Sitedrive is state-of-the-art scheduling and collaboration solution for the construction sites that will improve workflow efficiencies.

You have several years of experience from backend development in an international environment. Our current backend is written in Java and it uses GraphQL to communicate with the frontend. The frontend tech stack is React + Typescript + GraphQL. Everything is deployed to AWS using Kubernetes and uses Postgres as a database. Knowledge and experience with our existing technologies is a plus but not a requirement.

Responsibilities:

• Participate in the entire application lifecycle, focusing on coding and debugging
• Write clean code to develop functional web applications
• Gather and address technical and design requirements
• Take part in refining the software development processes

Requirements:

• Proven work experience as backend developer
• Hands on experience with at least one backend language like Java, NodeJS or Python
• Experience working with relational databases and SQL
• Teamwork skills with a problem-solving attitude

Considered as a plus:

• Knowledge of frontend frameworks and technologies
• Devops/sysop/admin experience and knowledge of modern sysop tools (e.g. Docker, Kubernetes, AWS/GCP/Azure...)
