As Global Head of Data & IT you will bring data into the center of our operations and build IT into key competitive advantage for Futurice. You will have ownership of our data & IT vision and strategy and responsibility to develop both of them forward. Together with our frontline business teams, you will develop Futurice’s architecture, data platform, processes, and IT systems and tools to the next level.

This is a new role which has evolved from our Head of IT position, as we are moving towards realising our vision of becoming an AI powered consultancy. The role will be shaped according to your experience, strengths and growth aspirations.

Global Head of Data & IT will be part of Futurice Council, our global strategic leadership team. In this role you will also lead the internal IT team, inspiring and coaching people in finding their growth paths & future-capable roles.

Concrete responsibilities:

• Data and IT vision & strategy development work and execution in collaboration with Futurice Council and frontline business teams
• IT budget responsibility
• Futurice’s architecture, app portfolio and process development
• Acting as a link between business needs & IT
• Leading the internal IT team

We are looking for a person with leadership experience from an internal CIO / CDO organisation. Business leadership experience in professional services / agency environment is a plus. You have strategic understanding of how IT and systems can support business operations, and are not afraid to get your hands dirty in operational work. Ideally, you are one part visionary, one part pragmatist who wants to make the world better with data.
