What you’ll be doing:

You will be developing features for the RELEX WFO (Workforce Optimization). You would be focusing on the employee facing microservices including mobile optimized web application for the employee to e.g. view his/her own upcoming shifts and make wishes, and tablet optimized web application for the employees to punch in and out of work. The team is developing both the (NodeJS, TypeScript, PostgreSQL) backends and the (React, Redux, TypeScript) frontends, and depending on your skills and interests you would be doing fullstack or mobile/frontend development. We are about to wrap one of the applications with PhoneGap (unless Apple decides to implement web push notifications), so experience or interest towards that is considered a plus. You would also be e.g. writing automated tests and review code. The product is still in its early stages, so you would have a great impact on the technology and UX related choices. The services will be running on Azure Kubernetes, packaged with Docker, and you could also take part in the operations, meaning you would be utilising/learning some devops skills.

What you’ll bring to the table:

You have extensive experience on building modern web applications. You have experience on JavaScript and on some transpiling language, such as TypeScript. You have also been developing software that is optimized towards mobile and works reliably in a variety of mobile browsers. PhoneGap and/or native mobile development is considered a plus.
