Solution Design Owner, Integrations and API’s

As a Solution Design Owner – Integrations and API’s, you are responsible for functional solution design for KONE’s Integration and API management platforms.

You will work closely with other solution design owners and key stakeholders to capture and manage the business requirements and formulate these into functional specifications and API design.

You will work in close co-operation with technical configuration team(s) and solution providers in order to create alternative solution options analysis, ensure solution technical fit for purpose and participate in capacity planning.

We are looking for a professional with previous experience in promoting and implementing integrations and API led approach in an organization using agile methods.

We need a person who can work well in a matrix organization and guide teams, which are not in direct reporting line.

The position is based in Espoo, Finland.

Responsibilities

-Responsible for the Requirement management in a co-operation with Solution owners and other Solution Design Owners.

-Responsible for the functional and non-functional design for KONE global hybrid integration and API management platforms

-Responsible for the Integration and API design consistency in collaboration with Integration configuration owner. Oversees that the solution design fits for the purpose covering both design in projects and in continuous development

-Ensure high quality and reusability of API and integration design and specification together with configuration owners

-Drive platform adoption through continuous improvement of the processes, standards, policies, working methods, and tools, driving a DevOps practice

-Assist in shaping the overall API management and integration strategy and roadmap

-Main contact / counterpart for Solution Design Owners and Architects for all integrations linking global and local applications including SAP, Salesforce, IOT

-Accountable for accurate time for demand delivery; reviews, prioritizing the demand backlog, from idea to requirement, pre-design and functional specification phase

-Integration technologies in scope: Mulesoft Anypoint Platform, SAP PO & CPI

We expect you to have

-University degree

-Minimum professional experience 10 years with minimum 7 years in integration technologies

-Expertise and hands on experience in following integration technologies: Mulesoft Anypoint Platform, SAP PO/CPI

-Good knowledge in API Management technologies and Cloud Integrations in hybrid environment

-Good understanding of modern integration technologies: onprem-to-onprem, cloud-to-onprem, cloud-to-cloud

-Demonstrated track record of clear achievements from previous positions held

-Experience with CI/CD processes and DevOps tools

-Experience with ITIL processes

-Experience with supplier collaboration / collaboration with AMS partners

-Experience in leadership and matrix organizations

-Experience in people management/team lead is appreciated

-Experience in working in international environment with stakeholders distributed globally

-Excellent stakeholder communication skills (both written and oral)

-Excellent Change Management skills

-Analysis and Problem solving

-Fluency in English (written and spoken)
