MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

As Solution Expert in SAP Test Management area you will be responsible of developing and maintaining areas in SAP Solution Manager, which includes Solution Documentation, Test Suite, Focused Build and Test Automation. Furthermore, you will be part of Release Management process, taking care of scheduled releases with SAP ALM Concept Owner.

This position is in our Global ERP Center of Excellence, Concept and Release Management team.

Together with our Concept Owners, Service Managers and Solution Managers you will jointly ensure that process documentation, testing and releases follow agreed guidelines.

Your tasks include among other:

• Develop and maintain Test Strategy and Concept
• Develop and maintain technical aspects of Solution Documentation, Focused Build, Test Suite and Test Automation.
• Supports Concept Owners in Solution Documentation and Test Cases in Solution Manager.
• Manage documentation and testing scope in your areas.
• Explore new possibilities to optimise processes. This is done in cooperation with SAP ALM Concept Owner
• Participate and develop Change Management Process together with Release team
• Process releases with SAP ALM Concept Owner
• Conduct industry benchmarking and collect best practices within SAP Solution Manager in own areas
   

QUALIFICATIONS

• Education: B.Sc. / M.Sc. or equivalent in Information Technology or Engineering
• Functional and technical experience of Charm, Solution Documentation, Test Suite, Focused Build and Test Automation in SAP Solution Manager, knowledge of other modules seen as an advantage
• Knowledge of Release Management
• Very good team working skills in global environment
• Proactive, development-minded and goal-focused attitude to work
• Good leadership and management skills, ability to handle stress
• Fluent written and spoken English, ability to communicate complex to non-IT stakeholders
• Design thinking, experience from Service Design is a plus, key is the ability to transform requirements into solution proposals
• Very good documentation, visualization and presentation skills
• It’s a plus if you have already looked into the fundamentals of S/4HANA and know how it affects Solution Manager.
• IT service management skills seen as advantage (vendor management, change management, continuous service improvement, development and operations)

Possible locations for this position are our IM locations in Finland (Helsinki/Vaasa/Turku).
