Our goal is to build Global Financial Operations to become a center of excellence based on the new model of operations in Finance with 

·       a high level of financial expertise and ownership

·       competences to meet the requirements coming from new processes, tools and changing regulations

·       full geographical coverage to provide a global view of processes and data, and operationally efficient financial processes, with automated routine tasks.

In parallel with Valmet’s ERP business transformation Global Financial Operations engages in the design and global implementation of end-to-end processes value chain from finance point of view.

We have been strengthening the ERP business process transformation project by setting up a team of Global Key Users (GKU) to support Leap Finance team and work full-time in the project.

We are ooking for highly motivated and enthusiastic Global Key User to support process and solution development and implementation in the following end-to-end process:

Order to Cash (O2C)

·       Internal Trade and Service revenue

Your responsibilities in this role are to

·       Support concept owner to plan, prepare and ensure that relevant blueprints, functional and technical designs can be rolled out in a systematic manner

·       Prepare test plans, scripts and resourcing, execute robust testing with good documentation and prepare cut over plans so that the functionalities of the concept area are ready to be rolled out

·       Participate in the discussions related to your own concept area with different business and finance stakeholders and IT together with Leap Forward project finance stream

·       Communicate, train and support changes in own concept area

·       Organize and hold classroom trainings and create e-learning materials

·       Actively look for continuous improvement of own responsibility area in close co-operation with Finance community

In this role you you will report to Ahti Väätäinen, Manager, Project Management and Implementations, and you will work in close collaboration with E2E process concept owners in Leap Finance stream. The project team operates in Järvenpää but you may also be located in Tampere or Jyväskylä.

To succeed in this role you need to have:

·       Relevant educational degree in finance or equivalent

·       Minimum 3 years of applicable experience, at least partly in an international company

·       A deep understanding of finance processes and solutions and the integration of those to the other systems

·       Experience and knowledge of developing finance solutions in ERP systems, knowledge of Infor Technology is an advantage

·       Ability to work in multicultural matrix type organization and to stay organized in a dynamic work environment

·       Project work experience and ability to make things happen

·       Good communication skills and fluent language skills, both written and verbal in English is a must

·       Lean mindset

·       Ability to travel
