Item Specialist

The Technology Unit Energy Spare Parts (ESP) sells and delivers spare parts to Power and Recovery boiler customers in Pulp & Paper and Power Generation segment.

We are looking for an Item Specialist with knowledge of item data management and analytical mindset to our location at Tampere. This position is temporary for 1 year.

As an Item Specialist, you will be a member of Energy Spare Parts Technology Unit and you will report to the Manager, Energy Spare Parts. You will have an important role in the quote-to-delivery process in ensuring item data quality. You will collaborate with multiple functional teams including Engineering, Project Execution, Procurement, Logistics and Finance.

Your key accountabilities:

• Responsible for the quality of item data in ESP
• Manage items in everyday business by supporting in item logistic flow from Engineering to Item delivery to Customer
• Development of item data and enrichment process
• Support Engineering and Energy Spare Part team in item handling
• Be contact to the Item Governance team in Valmet
• Create reference items

Requirements:

We expect you to have a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant engineering discipline. Understanding of project lifecycle and ability to read technical drawings is an advantage. ERP experience with knowledge of Item Data Management. Ability to efficiently prioritize work and timely inform stakeholders on the progress. Strong Microsoft Office skills. Good written and verbal communication skills in English. Swedish language and willingness to travel are advantage.

As a person, you must be commercially-minded, customer-oriented, dynamic team player with good presentation and communications skills.
