At PRISMA Telecom Testing we develop innovative test solutions for wireless networks. We cover mobile technologies ranging from GSM to WCDMA to LTE and 5G, supporting also IoT.

For our R&D center in Oulu we are looking for a

R&D 5G Wireless Application Engineer

Who will join our team in the integration and support of LTE-A and 5G solutions

Main Responsibilities

• Integrate new RAN features into PRISMA products, in team with both the Customer and the PRISMA development team in Milan
• Professional support on site or remotely in cooperation with our development team
• Assist with configuration, software installations and upgrades of PRISMA products
• Open, troubleshoot, track, resolve, escalate system and subsystem configuration, interface, hardware, software, and/or data faults using JIRA
• Analyze and discuss new requirements with the customer

Essential Requirements

• University degree in a technical subject, such as Telecommunications or Electronics Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent
• At least 4 years of experience within the area of mobile telecommunications systems
• Experience in system testing in one or more of feature, functional, performance testing areas
• Proven experience gained with 5G or LTE networks
• Familiarity with 3GPP-specifications (5G, LTE, WCDMA, GSM)
• Fluency in English (spoken and written, C1 level)
