Skilled Software Developer - Full-stack, Front-end

We are currently strengthening our product development unit which develops a brand-new product that renovates our customers’ Digital Service Lifecycle Management systems in the cloud where 5G, machine learning and AI plays a significant role. As part of this unit of architects, software and UI developers, test engineers and designers you’ll have a chance to make a true impact on our customers’ every day working life. 

This job in a nutshell 

We are looking to hire skilled Full-stack or Front-end Software Developers to our R&D team in Helsinki. Our future growth and focus areas are in resilient cloud environments and virtualization technologies and therefore we would value if you have experience of network virtualization (NFV & SDN), modern cloud solutions, containers and security solutions.

During the first months you will be introduced to our product suite and get you up to speed with development work. You will start by adding new functionality to existing code base, but soon after that you will have a chance to start implementing new software modules from scratch. Depending on your skills and expertise you will participate front-end, API, back-end, test automation and continuous integration work.

Key selection criteria

1. Technical know-how

• Knowledge of Java, Maven, Python, PostgreSQL, Linux and Shell scripting.
• Experience in JavaScript (Node, ES2015, React, D3), REST, GraphQL and/or Web Services based integration is an advantage. 
• Familiar with concepts like Continuous Integration (Gitlab), unit test automation (Jest & Enzyme), system test automation (Nightwatch & Selenium)
• Cloud/Virtualization (Docker, OpenStack) and Infrastructure as a Code (Vagrant, Ansible)
• Understanding of NFV/SDN and L2/L3 technologies is considered as an advantage.
