We are looking for an enthusiastic contributor to digitalize our service business as a Service Product Manager, Digital Service Solutions.

Your short-term focus will be in working with stakeholders in Business Lines and Development to create a coherent software offering across technologies to support Outotec service business. Commercial aspects of service and software business are vital in the work. Customer engagement and deep understanding of the customer needs is something you value. You want to accomplish tangible results quickly in a constantly changing environment.

The position is in Service Business Unit, located in Espoo. It requires close collaboration with your peers in Business Lines as well as in Operational Excellence, Marketing and the rest of service community.

As Service Product Manager, Digital Service Solutions, Software technologies, you will:
  • Develop, commercialize and launch digital service products utilizing Outotec product development process
  • Create service product documentation including marketing, sales, delivery and training materials
  • Define service product earnings logic, pricing principles and margin setup
  • Drive continuous agile development of Outotec service related software solutions with business and technical stakeholders, focusing on customer value and business analysis
  • Drive global order intake, sales and sales margin of your service products, providing sales and technical support
  • Sponsor and lead service strategies with Market Areas to promote service product offerings and sales
  • Work with Market Areas and sales teams to develop the capability and competency of personnel to support the digital service products
  • Create and maintain Market Intelligence: target market, customer segment and competitor analysis
To succeed, you will need:
  • MSc in engineering or equivalent education
  • Solid understanding of Digitalization trends and business models
  • Experience in digital service and software delivery
  • Experience in analyzing customer needs and turning them into product features and priorities
  • Ability to articulate business requirements for developers, and to read, interpret & use technical material
  • Planning skills, with proven track record on meeting timelines and targets
  • Customer oriented mindset including communication and customer service skills
  • Strong capability in the analysis of data and ability to draw practical conclusions about product and business performance
  • Strategic thinking combined with hands on capabilities
  • Ability to network efficiently internally and externally
  • Ability to travel as required
