Sales Development Manager

KONE's New Services and Solutions (NSS) unit drives the rapid development of new digital solutions for various customer segments and users globally, across all business lines.
We are now looking for a
Sales Development Manager
for New Services and Solutions (NSS) to be responsible for the analysis, identification, planning and practical implementation of sales development actions that support profitable growth of new services and solutions on a global basis. The main focus will be on Advanced People Flow (APF) solutions, i.e. destination control, access control, infotainment and monitoring solutions. In addition, you will support the People Flow Consulting team to ramp up sales of our unique consulting service.
Main responsibilities:
- Further develop sales management tools and practices and coach frontline, area and global colleagues in adopting them (e.g. CRM dashboards and sales funnel follow-up)
- Define business requirements for sales tools, processes and materials and drive related initiatives in close collaboration with other teams
- Provide sales support to frontline and area teams (both on individual customer cases and on creating sales ramp-up plans) and coordinate sales support activities when other teams need to be involved
- Drive sales competence development (collect needs from frontlines and areas, plan and execute matching activities independently and together with e.g. Learning & Development team)
- Contribute to commercialization of new solutions (e.g. go-to-market plans and pricing models)
- Identify, plan and implement other business initiatives to improve key sales related topics
Skills, Education and Experience:
• Relevant experience in either sales or business development, preferably in the field of digital services and solutions
• Drive, persistence, sales oriented can-do attitude and excellent people and communication skills to win together in a matrix organization across the world
• Passion towards technology and digital solutions
• Solid IT skills, at least some experience of sales tools
• Suitable university level degree
• Willingness to travel
