Sales manager for Elisa Videra in Italy

We are now looking for a Sales manager for Italy to join our team of experts in video conferencing solutions sales. You would be located in Milan area and responsible for the sales in Italy. The role includes travelling in within the region and possible in Europe. You will work closely with Italy’s Country Director and report directly to the Elisa Videra Vice President responsible for leading the related sales activities and partner business. The exact role depends on the experience of the candidate.

Role description

In the role of Sales Manager, your main responsibilities include:

  • Leading sales activities in the Italian market and delivering results in global video conferencing opportunities, offered to Fortune 500 companies
  • Building and enabling joined business success with a channel partner that is one of the largest global telco service operators
  • Working directly towards large enterprise customers
  • Owning the customer and partner facing sales role, working as part of the Elisa Videra bid and sales team responsible for largest global opportunities
  • Ensuring that new customers are won and securing customer cases are handed over internally with quality and that the committed business case and margins are delivered
  • Working directly for the Vice President responsible for global sales activities, and acting as a key member of the Elisa Videra Italy team as well as the international organization

Required experience

  • Solid experience in solution selling within video conferencing solutions and related services for Large Global Enterprises
  • A solid track record of successful sales
  • Experience and relationships with the most relevant industry technology players (Cisco, Poly, Pexip, Microsoft etc.)
  • Bachelor's or Master's level degree in technology / business or equivalent
  • Native Italian and fluent spoken and written English (other languages are an advantage), as well as excellent presentation and negotiation skills

In addition, any technical certifications as well as understanding of video conferencing technologies (endpoints and infra) and experience in working with large channel partners on building a joined business model are seen as a benefit. We appreciate a result-oriented, driven and creative personality, who has a proven track-record of closing large global deals and is comfortable working with executive level contracts. Sharp skills in pricing, margin and business case calculations are a strong advantage.
